About Villa Nuevespigas

Villa Nuevespigas is a place shaped by time, land, and family.

The property was built in 1999 by my parents, Isabel and Frank, originally as a small countryside hotel in the hills of Málaga. Over time, it naturally evolved into a more private and intimate way of hosting, where guests could enjoy the entire property and its surroundings together while still preserving the warmth and hospitality of its origins.

More recently, Villa Nuevespigas underwent a thoughtful renovation to enhance comfort, warmth and understated elegance while remaining deeply connected to the surrounding landscape. The intention was never to create a traditional hotel experience, but rather a peaceful retreat that combines the privacy and atmosphere of a private villa with the care and character of a boutique countryside stay.

I’m Juan, your host. I grew up in Málaga and have been connected to this land since I was ten years old. After living and working abroad, including several years in London, I returned home to focus on what genuinely brings me joy: creating meaningful stays and sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Today, Villa Nuevespigas welcomes holiday stays, retreats, intimate weddings and gatherings, offering an exclusive-use setting that adapts naturally to rest, connection and more intentional experiences. Surrounded by nature and panoramic mountain views, the property is designed for guests to slow down, come together and experience a more relaxed rhythm of life in Andalusia.
